North London giants Arsenal are reportedly ready to make a move for highly rated French international player Tanguy Ndombele ahead of the winter transfer window scheduled to begin in four weeks time.
According to the publication from trusted English media platform Daily Mirror, the Gunners are keen to reinforce their midfield options with a move for the 21-year-old.
Tanguy Ndombele plays his club football for French Ligue 1 giants Lyon at the moment.
Arsenal will have to fend off the interest of several European sides in their chase for the Frenchman.
Ndombele signed for Lyon from fellow French team Amiens in the summer of 2017 and he has gone on to become a key player for Lyon.
He rose to European prominence earlier this season when he produced a man-of-the-match display to propel his Lyon side to a stunning 2-1 victory at the home of Champions League favourites Manchester City in what was a Matchday 1 clash in this season’s competition.
Tanguy Ndombele is a full international for the French national team after he made his debut for the world champions last month.
He came on as a substitute for the French team in an international friendly against minnows Iceland at home and has already featured four times for his team.
