Emerging reports reveal that a number of clubs are all scrambling for the signature of Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir.

This is according to a French newspaper L’Equipe which confirms that the player might be on his way from the club and a whole lot of clubs outside France can’t wait to have him.

It is also reported that clubs are aware that Fekir remains desperate to leave the club and the clubs are ready to capitalize on that.

However, Chelsea are believed to be monitoring the situation as they emerge as one of the strongest contenders for him.

The West London club are also to battle German giants Bayern Munich with the contest believed to be won by either of the clubs.

It would be recalled that the 25-year-old midfielder’s move to Liverpool for a fee €60 million in the last summer was called off at the die minutes.

Fekir has since then being a bad player as he seems affected by his stay in Lyon.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are looking at strengthening their team and also to provide a cover for Eden Hazard so as not to overburden him with whole responsibility of the team.

The Blues have hinted on having a busy January transfer dealing.
