West London side Chelsea are reported to have opened talks with Turkey outfit Galatasaray over the signing of winger Yunus Akgun ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in the coming month.
The Blues are desperately in need of new attackers who can help them mount a title challenge with Pedro and Brazilian Willian both shy on goals in addition to concerns that they are already 30 years of age and might not be able to play longer on that level of competition.
This season has been big for Yunus Akgun having impressed so far and that has caught the attention of many top European clubs who are all interested in his service.
With Chelsea reported to have opened talks with the Turkish outfit for the young lad, there are expectations that a deal will fall through for the West London side.
The Blues are beginning to run dry of form as they failed to secure a win against Tottenham in the London derby game at the weekend.
Yunus Akgun is contracted to Galatasaray until 2020 with a release clause of £3 million but there are suggestions that the release clause will shoot up any time soon because of the attention he has received across Europe.
