There has been relative silence on the new contract deal for Chelsea star Eden Hazard and that seems to be raising concern over his future at the club.

The Belgium international was initially reluctant about committing his future to the West London side in the summer but his stance had changed some weeks back when he declared he is ready for a new offer with the club amidst interest from Real Madrid.

Since his readiness to have a new deal after lots of pleads, the Stamford Bridge side are yet to make any pronouncement on it while a new deal was recently offered to World Cup winner and France international N’Golo Kante.

However, Blues boss Maurizio Sarri has reacted to the concerns raised by assuring the club fans that the efforts are already underway to hand the Belgium international a new deal at the club.

Although, he confessed being in the dark of when the deal is expected to be signed but the Italian boss is optimistic that Hazard will be handed a new deal that will keep him at the Stamford Bridge much longer.

The Belgium star was heavily linked to the Spanish giants but has since stated that he will remain with his West Londoners.
