Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has admitted he admires Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen as a player and will like to have him.
The Italian boss made this claim while ahead of the London derby between Tottenham and Chelsea at the weekend.
Meanwhile, Christian Eriksen is being linked away from Tottenham as he is reported to be happy. He has, therefore, been linked to Spanish giants Real Madrid who have indicated their interest in his service.
There were hints that Christian Eriksen’s owners opened talks of a new and improved deal but no conclusion has been made over that and it is unpleasing to the star player.
The former Napoli boss says Harry Kane remains the best English striker at the moment but noted that he will prefer Christian Eriksen who is a very smart and technical.
Sarri noted that Christian Eriksen has the ability to play in the midfield but that will not stop him from scoring enough goals per season, making him a very important player to any team.
However, Tottenham will fall in the risk of losing the player if no agreement is reached before he enters into the last 12 months of his contract with lots of suitors already waiting to hand him big offers.
