The winter transfer window is fast approaching with clubs making efforts to get busy with transfer activities and Liverpool will not be left out from all indications.
Latest report hints that the Reds have gone scouting La Liga outfit Real Sociedad and Spain international star Diego Llorente as a way of making steps to having his signature.
Reports coming from Spain reveal that the Anfield side are making efforts to push further, their interest in the player, hence delegations were sent to watch him in his country home, Croatia during the international break.
However, they were reportedly disappointed in Diego Llorente as he was an unused substitute in the UEFA Nations League game. Although, the scouts had watched him last week when his Real Sociedad team won 3-1 against Levente in the Spanish La Liga clash.
It was revealed that the £30 million release clause for the player has already been known to the English Premier League giants and efforts were put in place for them to make the money available because of their seriousness in the deal.
However, the decision might have been made by the Reds on either to move in on the player or not but it is reported that they are keen to sign a new defender.
