Manchester United have been linked with a move for Chelsea powerhouse N’Golo Kante in the last few days for a move in the January transfer window.

However, Sky Sports pundit Keith Andrews is surprised why the Red Devils have since not signed the French man stating that his presence at the Old Trafford will help to settle former Juventus Player Paul Pogba both off and on the pitch.

N’Golo Kante joined the West London club Chelsea in 2016 after pulling an unbelievable with his performance at Leicester City to help the Foxes win the Premier League title against the expectations of many.

The Sky Sports pundit hailed Kante stating that he is the best so far in giving a good cover to the defence as well as doing it with ease, stating that he was secured by both Leicester City and the Blues at a cheap price owing to his worth.

The pundit stated that Kante will be the best partner with his France counterpart which would have given the Old Trafford side the stability and depth in the team.

However, Chelsea have made it clear that Kante will not be leaving the Old Trafford anytime soon knowing his importance and relevance in the team.

The West London side are also believed to have handed a new and improved contract deal to the former Leicester City player so as to discourage suitors.
