It has been revealed that controversial football agent Mino Raiola has offered one of his players to Manchester United ahead of the upcoming transfer window scheduled to start as from the 1st of January.
This was confirmed by journalist Duncan Castles via a publication from English news outlet Daily Express.
According to Castles, three-time European champions Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign highly rated Ajax Amsterdam defender Matthijs De Ligt during the January transfer window by Mino Raiola.
De Ligt has earned rave reviews for his impressive showings for both club and country thus attracting interests from the creme de la creme of European football.
Matthijs De Ligt has been heavily linked with a transfer to European heavyweights such as Spanish champions Barcelona, Italian champions Juventus and Manchester United.
The 19-year-old would be a fantastic addition to an ailing Manchester United defence under manager Jose Mourinho.
The Dutch international centre-back could be the missing link for a defence that has struggled to keep clean sheets in the new campaign.
Manchester United have kept three clean sheets only in all competitions this season, including one Premier League clean sheet against Lancashire outfit Burnley (2-0 win in a Matchday 4 clash).
