Unai Emery Set To Raid Sevilla For Welbeck Replacement

New Arsenal manager Unai Emery is reportedly keen on raiding his former club as he tries to find a replacement for the injured Danny Welbeck ahead of the second half of the season.
According to reports coming out of Italy, the 47-year-old will raid Spanish La Liga side Sevilla for their French striker Wissam Ben Yedder when the transfer window reopens in five weeks’ time.
Unai Emery was the Sevilla manager for three hugely successful years (between 2013 and 2016).
He led the Seville-based club to three successive Europa League titles.
The publication from trusted Italian news platform calciomercato claims that the Spanish tactician has identified Ben Yedder as the man to soften the blow of losing England international player Welbeck for the rest of the season.
Wissem Ben Yedder has been in red-hot form for the Spanish club this season and that has drawn the attention of clubs like Arsenal and seven-time European champions AC Milan.
He has already scored 10 goals in 17 appearances for Sevilla in all competitions.
Ben Yedder would be a more than able replacement for Welbeck who will miss the majority of the season after he sustained a serious ankle injury in the Europa League home clash with Portuguese Super League giants Sporting Lisbon.
