Chelsea youngster Ethan Ampadu has finally returned to the Stamford Bridge but this time not to a fresh football career with the Blues but to treat an injury he is nursing.

Ethan Ampadu was missing in Wales’ second game during the international as he had to return to the treatment room.

Although, the degree of the injury has not been disclosed yet but the development will be a setback to the Wales international career as he might be denied the opportunity of a loan move that will help him progress.

The young lad has got loads of talents and has been tipped to be a major part of the future of the Blues team but he might have to move on a loan deal to have him secure regular playing time elsewhere.

Several club shave indicated their interest in having him on loan with Aston Villa keen to sign him in the coming winter transfer window but that might no longer happen again if the player is meant to sit out much longer.

The Versatile midfielder joined the West London club in 2017 from Exeter with a fee of £3 million and the 18-year-old is tied to the Stamford Bridge until 2023.
