Liverpool might have to wait a little longer to have the signature of Christian Pulisic after the sporting director of the German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund Michael Zorc said the player will remain at the club until the end of the season.

According to Michael Zorc, the club are aware of the rumours being speculated and he was quick to affirm that there will be no deal for the American talent in the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks also noting that the club are preparing with the player until the end of the season.

Christian Pulisic will be out of contract with the Bundesliga club in 2020 but the English Premier League side Liverpool were willing to make a move to have the player as early as in the New Year until the latest development.

However, they will have to wait until the end of the season or turn attention elsewhere going by the words of the club’s sporting director.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp had worked with Christian Pulisic some years back at Borussia Dortmund where he served before his switch to the English Premier League.

It is believed that the American’s introduction to first team football at the club was done by the German manager.
