Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson, who is on loan at Hoffenheim, has vowed to continue his fine form for the Bundesliga side throughout this season.

Nelson, 18, was tipped by the Gunners fans to remain at the Emirates stadium this season to continue his development under Unai Emery but that didn’t happen as the manager sanctioned his move to the Bundesliga side on a season-long loan.

The youngster made his Hoffenheim debut yesterday and it was a great outing for the player, though, he ended up on the losing side.

Nelson was introduced in the second half of the game when his teammates were trialling Fortuna Duesseldorf by a lone goal, and he was able to bring the scoreline back to level term after his brilliant goal.

However, his goal wasn’t enough to prevent his team from losing 2-1 to their opponent.

He further reaffirmed his readiness to continue scoring goals for the Bundesliga side as the season progresses.

According to him, scoring goals is the responsibility of a striker and that’s his mission throughout the 2018-19 campaign.

In other Arsenal news, Unai Emery has revealed the reason behind his decision to replace Matteo Guendouzi with Lucas Torreira in their 2-1 victory over Newcastle.

According to Emery, the young Frenchman is finding it difficult to withstand the pace of the game, so, he had to pull him out for the Uruguay who changed the pattern of the game in their favour.
