Chelsea are reported to be bent on signing 17-year-old PSV Eindhoven starlet Heritier Deyonge as they attempt to sign him as part of the future plans of the club.
The West London club are not alone in the bid for Heritier Deyonge as Manchester United are also believed to have been monitoring the player since he was at age 16.
L’Equipe reports that the both English Premier League sides are not alone in the race for Heritier Deyonge with French giants Paris St Germain also showing substantial interest in the Belgium-born left-back.
PSV Eindhoven discovered Heritier Deyonge as far back as in July 2012 and he has since developed with good progress already made. He has made five appearances for PSV U-17 side in the current campaign.
Though still young, Chelsea are believed to be ready to sign him so that he can continue his progress at the Stamford Bridge
Heritier Deyonge is reported to be showing some trait that fits the English football and moving at a young age will help him learn quickly to be able to adapt to the rigour of the league.
Chelsea are working behind closed doors to build a formidable youth team that will always feed the first team with great talents in the coming years.
