22-Year-Old Italian Emerges As A Transfer Target For Man United

Highly rated AS Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini is one of the transfer targets being pursued by Premier League giants Manchester United ahead of the upcoming transfer window in the New Year.
The 22-year-old has been one of the standout players for the Italian capital club since he returned to the club from fellow Italian Serie A side Sassuolo.
He spent two years at Sassuolo between 2015 and 2017 before returning to the Stadio Olimpico in the summer of 2017.
He has scored four goals in 36 league outings for his beloved AS Roma
Pellegrini is an AS Roma Academy graduate and he’s also a full Italian international.
He has eight caps for the Italian national team after making his debut in 2017.
His performances have not gone unnoticed at Old Trafford and senior Manchester United officials are keen to make him a Red Devil when the transfer window reopens in January.
According to the report from the Daily Express, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wants to spend part of the £100m at his disposal on him.
Mourinho is looking to improve his squad in January following an underwhelming start to the new campaign.
The Red Devils are already twelve points adrift in the race for the Premier League title.
