Arsenal host Liverpool in the star match of the weekend in the Premier League and Gunners manager Unai Emery has identified the player that carries the biggest threat for the opposition.
The former Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Valencia boss pinpointed the Reds’ biggest threat while he was giving his pre-match reaction to the game scheduled to take place at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday night.
According to him, summer signing Alisson Becker carries the Reds’ major threat rather than the famed forward trio of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
The Spanish tactician revealed that the Liverpool goalkeeper is very crucial to the way the Merseysiders build up from the back.
He further stated that the former AS Roma shot stopper is the catalyst for the majority of the Reds’ attacks.
Alisson Becker briefly became the world’s most expensive goalkeeper ever when Liverpool and Italian capital club Roma agreed to a £67m fee for him during this summer’s transfer window.
He didn’t hold that position for long after Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga moved to Stamford Bridge for a fee of around £75m.
The Blues had no choice but to pay the release clause in his contract at Spanish La Liga side Athletic Bilbao.
