Three European clubs have reportedly joined the race for AS Roma forward Patrik Schick ahead of the upcoming transfer window in the New Year.
The 22-year-old has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League with North London giants Arsenal.
The Czech Republic international star has been mooted as a possible replacement for injured Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck.
Welbeck suffered what looked like a season-ending injury while he was in action for the Gunners in their Europa League clash at home to Sporting Lisbon on Thursday night.
The England international star sustained a serious injury in his right ankle while he was trying to connect with a cross from Stephan Lichtsteiner.
It was revealed that the extent of his injury would be determined in the next 72 hours.
Since his injury, the Gunners have been linked with several forwards including the aforementioned Schick.
Patrick Schick spent last season on loan at AS Roma from fellow Italian Serie A side before his move was made permanent in a £17m deal in the summer.
According to a report from popular Italian news outlet Corriere Dello Sport, Arsenal will have to battle with other interested sides like Sevilla, Crystal Palace and Real Valladolid.
