Latest revelation says Liverpool as a football club is being put up for sale in a secret manner by John W Henry with the sum of $2 billion placed as the accepted fee for the deal.
This is coming at a time when reports come in and out on the sale and interest of players across the football family in Europe ahead of the winter transfer window which opens in January.
The New York Post claims John W Henry is having a secret bid for the Merseyside club with sources close to FSG confirming that the process has been gradual so as to amass a profit worth £36& million on what he paid back in 2010.
It is reported that the aim of American businessmen FSG’s dealings with Liverpool over the years has been with the motive of helping the club become successful on the field and financially.
Meanwhile, the partnership between them both is expected to last longer than expected because of the financial target they are believed to have.
There is no doubt that this revelation remains a major concern to the club fans and followers with fears that the vision of the club might not be religiously followed by new owners.
Also, this could cause a distraction to manager Jurgen Klopp who is bent on winning his first title in his three years reign at the club.
