Emerging reports indicate that Liverpool have been able to register their interest in signing Frankfurt forward Luka Jovic.
LFC Glbe reports that the Reds are interested in having the 20-year-old at the club having scored a total of 10 goals in 14 appearances to be able to convince manager Jurgen Klopp of his readiness to play at a big club like the Reds.
Jovic has a contract with the club for the next two years but a pressing bid by the Merseyside club will force them to lose hold of him, according to suggestions.
Jovic is currently on loan in Frankfurt and the real owners Benfica might not be willing to miss out of such talent at the moment.
However, suggestions are that Benfica will not let the player leave as he promises to form the future of the club in the coming years.
Liverpool have got the likes of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, Egyptian international and Sadio Mane as options in the attack, making them more robust.
Also, Jovic remains a young player which makes him less before the Liverpool team and getting a first team shirt will be difficult for him.
The Reds are currently struggling with their latest game ending in an embarrassing 2-0 defeat in the Champions League encounter against Red Star Belgrade.
