Seven-time European champions AC Milan are the latest club to be linked with experienced Moroccan defender Mehdi Benatia ahead of the upcoming transfer window in the New Year.
The Juventus star has been linked with a move away from Turin following his lack of playing time under manager Maximiliano Allegri in the new season.
European clubs like Manchester United and Arsenal have been linked with a move for the 31-year-old with a view to a transfer when the winter window opens in few weeks time.
He has struggled to break into the Juventus starting XI this term following the summer arrival of Leonardo Bonucci from rivals AC Milan.
The Italian international centre back had earlier left the Juventus Stadium for a move to AC Milan only for him to make a sensational return to the Old Lady after one season at the San Siro.
Benatia was signed as his replacement at Juventus when Bonucci left the club last summer.
The Old Lady paid the sum of €17m for his transfer from German champions Bayern Munich during last summer’s transfer window.
Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly in the market for a new centre back and Benatia has been touted as a possible transfer for the two clubs in the New Year.
