Man United Set To Spend £26m On Highly Rated Defender

Premier League giants Manchester United have concluded plans to spend as much as £26m on Danish defender Joachim Andersen when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
This is according to the publication from renowned Italian news portal calciomercato via Metro.
Joachim Andersen currently plays his club football for Italian Serie A side Sampdoria whom he joined from Dutch side FC Twente in the summer of 2017.
It was further revealed that the Red Devils’ decision to sign the player was reached after the Manchester United fitness coach convinced manager Jose Mourinho about his potentials.
Fitness coach Stefano Rapetti worked with the centre back while he was at Sampdoria.
Rapetti joined the Mourinho-led Manchester United coaching crew this summer and has convinced the Portuguese tactician to splash the cash on him when the transfer window comes around.
Manchester United will have to fend off competition from other European giants in their bid to sign him from his Italian Serie A side.
Joachim Andersen has churned out impressive performances for Sampdoria since he joined the club in 2017 thus attracting the interest of several European heavyweights.
European clubs such as Inter Milan, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus have been linked with a move for him.
