Former Arsenal Star player Ian Wright has given a thumbs-up to Arsenal manager Unai Emery for his side’s 3-2 victory against Cardiff on Sunday.
However, the former Arsenal striker believed the Gunners lacked organization at some point in the game and called on the Spanish tactician to find a lasting solution to that.
According to him in his post-match analysis, the players were wonderful throughout the game but there are some lapses that need to be corrected as soon as possible if they must qualify for next season’s Champions League competition.
Ian Wright further advised Emery to start using Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira from the start so as to get the maximum best from the player.
Lucas Torreira joined the Gunners from Sampdoria this summer in a deal which was reported to have worth £26m but he hasn’t started any game this season.
Though the player is yet to get any minute from the start of matches, he has been influential in the games played so far.
As result of his blistering start to his Arsenal career, Wright called on Emery to give the former Sampdoria man the chance to start matches after the international break.
“Time for Torreria to start. Lots to work on but let’s keep it moving.”he said
Should Emery yield to Wright’s call, one of Matteo Guendouzi or Granit Xhaka will have to make way for him.
