Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is unsatisfied with the 1-1 draw result his side got at the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal on Saturday evening.

The German manager is of the opinion that his side ought to have won the game as he blames the referee decision and missed chances by his players for the one point that was picked in the game.

A goal by James Milner was cancelled by Alexandre Lacazette in the last minutes of the game which puts the Reds in a position of being 2 points behind Manchester City if the Sunday game is won.

Sadio Mane had scored a goal in the first half but referee Andre Marriner denied the Reds the celebration as he made an offside call which Klopp thinks was a wrong decision to make.

Admitting that the 1-1 draw was a good result especially playing at the Emirates, he noted that it would have been a win for his side with the missed chances in the game. According to him, the goals missed by defender Virgil van Dijk would have been scored with his eyes closed on a good day but that didn’t happen for reasons he cannot explain.

Klopp was unhappy with the defending by his side as Arsenal pressed hard on them.
