Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has stated that new Arsenal manager Unai Emery is not given the respect he deserves because he is a better coach than he is being rated.

The both managers last met in 2016 at the Europa League finals where the Spanish manager led Sevilla to defeat Liverpool in Basel.

The Spanish team came from behind to win 3-1 with Emery going ahead to winning three successive Europa league titles in addition to five major trophies at PSG.

Klopp stated that everyone in football knows the worth of the Arsenal boss as they are about to clash for the first time in the Premier League later on Saturday evening.

Although, the former Borussia Dortmund manager has an impressive record against the North London side as he has never lost a game in his three years stay in England.

The Reds are yet to win a title in the three years reign of the German manager and he has vowed to do all it takes to win a title this term. This makes a win against Gunners a must to be able to push for the title.

The Anfield side are second in the Premier League behind leaders Manchester City.
