Liverpool star Mohamed Salah seems to be returning back to great form and he has revealed what has been an inspiration to him at the Anfield.
Salah stated that the “Egyptian King” song the Kop serenades inspire him each time he hears it.
The former AS Roma player stated that the fans have a lot of songs that are being chanted for him but noted that he particularly finds the one titled the “Egyptian King” more as an inspiration.
According to him, he is usually filled with emotions each time he hears the song during games revealing that songs have been sung in his name within two to three months of his arrival at the club.
Particularly, Salah was being chanted by the large crowd when he was awarded the golden boot last season and he said it will be an unforgettable day in his life.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian noted that the day he got the golden boot was the first time he was booed by the fans after he took the ball away from his daughter on the field.
Salah started this season with an unconvincing form but that is already changing as he is now getting on the scoresheet more often especially in Liverpool’s last three games.
