Manchester United forwards Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard are in contention to start against Bournemouth on Saturday.

The Red Devils travel south to face the in-form Cherries and both players are expected to feature in the Premier League Matchday 11 clash at the Vitality Stadium.

Their potential involvement was confirmed by the Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho during his pre-match press conference for the game.

The Portuguese tactician further revealed that the trio of Belgian international midfielder Marouane Fellaini, young Portuguese right-back Diogo Dalot and Ecuadorian winger Antonio Valencia.

Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard trained throughout the week and are at 100% according to Mourinho.

The pair recently recovered from respective groin problems and were not at full capacity despite the fact that they were named on the substitute bench for the last league game against Everton.

Chilean international Alexis Sanchez was an unused substitute, while Three Lions of England player made an entrance into the game in added time as he helped his side to preserve a 2-1 lead.

He had recently returned to Manchester United training after one month out with the aforementioned groin problem.

His return is expected to boost the Manchester United forward line that has heavily relied on the in-form Anthony Martial.
