Premier League giants Manchester United will be without four players ahead of their Champions League clash with Spanish side Valencia.

The quartet of Ashley Young, Marcos Rojo, Anders Herrera and Jesse Lingard will miss the game slated for Old Trafford on Tuesday night.

The news of their absence was confirmed by Mourinho during his pre-match press conference ahead of the game.

England international Young played from start to finish as Manchester United suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of West Ham United but won’t feature against Valencia after he picked up an injury during the game against the Hammers.

Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera was on the bench for the weekend’s Premier League game against Manuel Pellegrini’s men at the Olympic Stadium.

Marcos Rojo and Jesse Lingard were not part of the squad for the West Ham game.

Manchester United have had a disappointing start to the season and that has heaped a lot of pressure on manager Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese tactician is reportedly the overwhelming favourites to lose his job as a Premier League manager.

The West Ham defeat was the Red Devils’ third defeat of the season and that left the Old Trafford outfit in 10th spot on the league table.
