Chelsea legend and Derby County manager Frank Lampard has claimed that there is no player in the world that is as good as Belgium international Eden Hazard at the moment in terms of form and performance.
Speaking on his side’s Carabao Cup clash against his former club, Lampard, hinted that there will soon be a world recognition for the Belgium man like it has been for Barcelona ace Lionel Messi and Juventus star player Cristiano Ronaldo.
Lampard admits to be watching the player and he described him as being outstanding and prime.
Hazard has been on the sideline over the past two games owing to the back injury he had sustained against Manchester United some weeks back and he is expected to return anytime soon.
Sarcastic Derby County manager stated that Hazard, having scored eight goals in all competitions has not returned because he is scared to face is side.
Chelsea will hope to continue their unbeaten run against a team managed by their former player but an upset is expected following what had happened against Manchester United.
The West London side are now only two points behind league leaders which hands them hope of a return to Champions League football next season.
