Arsenal failed to win a Premier League for the first time in eight games after they were held to a 2-2 draw by Crystal Palace in their London Derby meeting at Selhurst Park.
Arsenal (4-3-3):
Bernd Leno 6.5
He was largely untroubled throughout the match. Couldn’t do much to prevent Luka Miliojevic from scoring two penalties either side of halftime.
Hector Bellerin 6
Missed a good opportunity to give Arsenal the lead in the first half. Subbed off at halftime because of injury.
Shkrodan Mustafi 4
The German was at fault for both goals. Rash challenge on Cheikhou Kouyate for the first Palace penalty before failing to make a tactical foul in the buildup to the second penalty for the hosts.
Granit Xhaka 6
Scored a belter from a 52nd minute freekick to give Arsenal a well deserved equaliser. Conceded the second Palace penalty to the tricky Zaha.
Lucas Torreira 8
One of the best Arsenal players. Won the ball back for the Gunners on several occasions.
Matteo Guendouzi 7
The young French midfielder was very good defensively but his passing was not as effective as in previous games
Alex Iwobi 6
Not one of his best games for Arsenal this season.
Mesut Ozil 6
Had a relatively quiet game until he was withdrawn in the 67th minute.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 7
Took his one and only chance well to give Arsenal a second goal. He has now scored five goals in his last three games.
Alexandre Lacazette 5.5
Was involved in the buildup to Aubameyang’s strike for the Gunners’ second goal. Cost his team two points with a wayward pass which led to the second Palace penalty.
Substitutes:
Stephan Lichtsteiner 6
Defended well after coming on as a second half substitute for the injured Bellerin.
Danny Welbeck 5
Didn’t do much after coming on for Ozil.
Aaron Ramsey 5
Little time to impress.
