Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has taken a swipe at Liverpool FC and the city with his latest comment of recent.

The Italian chief has been at the English side since their meeting before the international break where his side had emerged winners in the 1-0 encounter.

His excitement after the win against the Merseyside has no bound and he could not hide his feelings after the game, showering praise on his side and manager Carlo Ancelotti for the good work.

It would be recalled that he had accused Liverpool of breaking UEFA rules, agitating that they be sanction as well as several other comments attributed to him to other clubs.

Howbeit, Napoli president Laurentiis this time had something to say about the lifestyle in Liverpool which according to him would be an abomination to live through.

He said he imagines waking up everything in Liverpool where you only have the house of the Beatles, Abbey Road, but went ahead to heap praise on Paris stating that they have got a lot of things to view.

He ended by saying that the City of Naples is better than both because the climate cannot be compared knowing that it’s accommodating and not harsh.

Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid are making efforts to try their luck on Liverpool star defender, Virgil Van Dijk as they seek to snap him up in the coming summer transfer window.

It has been reported that the Spanish outfit are set to lose their star defender Sergio Ramos as he is already been linked away from the club.

It is, therefore, claimed that should he leave the club, the La Liga giants will make efforts to snap up Vigil Van Dijk as a replacement.

Virgil Van Dijk has been impressive since he joined Liverpool from Southampton. He has been able to give manager Jurgen Klopp’s team a solid defence as they recorded the highest number of clean sheets with just a defeat in the entire English Premier League season.

However, two English Premier League outfits Liverpool and Man United are already being linked to secure the signature of the Legendary central defender.

It is therefore unsure if the Merseyside outfit will want to part ways with the former Southampton Defender especially now that manager Jurgen Klopp has vowed that he will not allow any of his player to move away from the club in this summer transfer window.

De Ligt

English Premier League outfit Manchester United have received a boost ahead of the summer transfer window after it was reported by Marca that their star target and Ajax central defender Matthijs de Ligt does not consider the Champions League miss as a barrier to joining the club.

Matthijs de Ligt has been linked to a number of clubs including Liverpool and Barcelona but the Red Devils seem to be more desperate and keen in the chase for the star player and that is why they have stepped forward with a bid.

However, the latest report claims that the Red Devils are close to securing the service of the Ajax player as they have submitted an offer that may be too difficult for him to turn down.

Marca also reported that Matthijs de Ligt has informed his camp of his willingness to leave Ajax for a new challenge elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Matthijs de Ligt had made it clear that he is looking for a challenge where he can develop while it has been suggested that the English Premier League is the best for the star player.

It is, therefore, yet to be seen if Ajax will agree to a deal with Manchester United as that could be the only barrier.

Man United confirm Marcos Rojo price tag

Marcos Rojo

Manchester United are reported to have made up their mind to part ways with defender Marcos Rojo in the coming summer transfer window.

Mirror Football reports that the clear out at the Old Trafford has begun and the Red Devils defender will go for as low as £6 million to any of his suitors.

It would be recalled that the Old Trafford side secured the services of the Argentina international in 2014 for a reported fee of £16 million but he has been declared to be surplus to requirements by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Marcos Rojo’s career at Old Trafford has been frustrated by injuries and that has limited his playing time at the club.

The defender only saw six appearances for the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team which is not enough to keep him at the club.

However, Marcos Rojo could return to his country home after revealing that he was approached by Boca Juniors.

It is therefore suggested that a move away from Europe would be very difficult for the Argentine International as he seeks to play European football.

Meanwhile, the clearance at the Old Trafford has already begun and more players are expected to leave before the end of the summer transfer window.

Eden Hazard

It is observed that the West London outfit Chelsea could be having a feel of their star player and Belgium international Eden Hazard for the last time when the club trade tackles with their London rivals Arsenal in the Europa League finals later in the week.

Eden Hazard has already made clear his decision to leave Stamford Bridge as soon as the season is over especially as he has refused to sign a new deal with the Blues team.

The West London outfit have done all in their power to convince the star player to remain at the club but that has not yielded any results with claims that he has already agreed on personal terms with Real Madrid while talks between the two clubs would be finalized after the Europa League finals.

Eden Hazard remains the heartbeat of the Blues team and that has been admitted by manager Maurizio Sarri who claims that it would be difficult to have him replaced at the club.

However, it could be the last but memorable one for the Blues fans should the Belgium international put up another class display that would be difficult for Arsenal team to contain.

Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff has emerged as a top target for Manchester United in recent weeks but the Red Devils might find it hard to secure his signing.

Manchester United will definitely sign a new midfielder in the wake of the exit of Ander Herrera and young English player Sean Longstaff is their top target in the quest to replace the aforementioned Spaniard this summer.

Ander Herrera is on the verge of joining French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) on a four-year deal and as a free agent.

Sean Longstaff enjoyed a breakthrough season at Newcastle United until he suffered a season-ending injury.

The 21-year-old made nine appearances in the Premier League before his injury and it was more than enough to convince Manchester United that the £25m-rated Newcastle United Academy player will be a perfect fit for the Old Trafford outfit.

The player has been thoroughly scouted by Manchester United and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is more than convinced about his quality but signing him is not automatically guaranteed.

According to the Chronicle Live, Manchester United will be able to sign Sean Longstaff if current boss Rafael Benitez leave the club this summer.

The Spanish tactician has the final say on both incomings and outgoings at Newcastle United until June 30 when his contract expires.

Italian Serie A giants Napoli have concluded plans to sign Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier during this summer’s transfer window.

This is according to the publication from popular Italian news portal La Gazzetta dello Sport which claimed that Napoli will make a move for the England international immediately after the Champions League final.

Kieran Trippier has been a big part of the Tottenham Hotspur squad for the better part of the last two years.

The former Burnley right-back became the first choice at Spurs following the exit of Kyle Walker in 2017.

Kyle Walker signed for Manchester City from North London club Tottenham Hotspur in a deal which made him the most expensive defender in the history of world football but his transfer has since been eclipsed by the Virgil Van Dijk deal from Southampton to Liverpool in January 2018.

Kieran Trippier and Tottenham Hotspur will face Liverpool in the Champions League final in Madrid at the start of next month and Napoli officials are expected to make their move for the €30m-rated player.

Apart from Napoli, Kieran Trippier has also been linked with a move to a Manchester United team in need of a new quality right-back ahead of the new season.
