Manchester United are known for spending huge cash on exceptional players whom they believe will add more quality to their squad in the long run.

United broke their transfer record two seasons ago when they spend a whopping £80m on Paul Pogba, however, they are set to break that record in January as reports claimed they are eyeing a big-money move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez.

According to Spanish publication Ok Diario, Mourinho is set to offer €150m for the Spanish international who has been nothing but an inspiration to his teammates.

The same report revealed that Manchester City, PSG, Real Madrid and Chelsea are trialling the player’s signature and they are all set to make move for his service as soon as the transfer window reopens.

Saul Niguez featured for Real Madrid’s team B from 2006 to 2008 before being snapped up by their derby rivals.

The 23-year-old made his first-team debut for the Diego Simeone’s side in 2011 when he featured as a second-half substitute against Besiktas in Europa League competition.

His fame widely known by many fans and pundits in the 2014-15 season as result of his mind-blowing performances which helped the Los Colchoneros to the La Liga title.

It will be very interesting to see how things unfold as regards as Saul’s future but it remains to be seen if United are ready to spend such huge amounts on the Spanish playmaker.
