Manchester United boss José Mourinho has been under huge criticism and reports claimed he could be fired as early as tomorrow, should he fail to get maximum points against Burnley.
However, former Real Madrid player Ronaldo has called on the Red Devils hierarchy and fans to be patient with the Portuguese manager.
The two-time World Cup winner is confident the Portuguese will turn things around for the team before the end of the season.

According to the former Brazilian star, Mourinho is a manager with obvious qualities and he is capable of leading the club to the Premier League trophy this season.
While speaking with La Gazzetta Dello Sport, the superstar said Mourinho is a special manager who has won many trophies, so, sacking him without giving him much chance to prove himself will be United’s greatest undoing.
‘I don’t know what’s happening in Manchester, but wait before criticizing Mourinho. He’s special and he’s won a lot.’ he said.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who worked with Mourinho during their time at Santiago Bernabeu before Mourinho re-joined Chelsea in the 2014-15 season. He said the striker is a great addition to Massimiliano Allegri’s team due to his brilliant goalscoring records.
Meanwhile, the two Portuguese are set to reunite later in the year as Juventus and United a grouped together in the Champions League draw which took place on Thursday.
The Red Devils are joined by the Scudetto Champions; Valencia and Young Boys in group C at the preliminary stage of the competition
