Leicester City defender Harry Maguire, who is a target for numerous clubs including United, has revealed that he is confident of joining Mourinho at Old Trafford this summer.
The 25-year-old midfielder was one of the most lively and consistent performers in the Foxes teams last season but he could be leaving the King Power Stadium this summer due to many offers trooping in for his service.
The England international was awesome for the Three Lions in Russia, though, his performances wasn’t enough to “bring the trophy back home” as many fans anticipated.
According to the Daily Mirror, the England No 5 is ready to quit his blossom Leicester city’s career this summer as he hopes to work with José Mourinho this coming season.
Other clubs who are interested in Maguire’s signature include Everton, Tottenham and Juventus but they might all fail in their bid to lure him to their respective clubs as United are reportedly leading the race.
The report also claim that the Red Devils were told to pay not less than £65m for the former Hull city man if they must beat their rivals to his signature before the summer window shut down in coming weeks.
Leicester City will be hoping to pull another surprise in the coming season —just as they did in the 2015-16 season when they won the Premier League trophy despite all odds.
