According to AS, Arsenal are set to bolster their midfield positions by ensuring they sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul in the summer despite huge price tag placed on his head by the Spanish giants.
The report emanating from Atletico Madrid suggests that Diego Simeone alongside the club’s board of directors are not ready to let go of the influential midfielder, therefore, demanding a deal worth £150m from the Gunners so as to scare them off the player’s services.
Surprisingly, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is set to make the ‘impossible’ deal happens this summer as he is reportedly ready to offer £150m for his signature.
The 23-year-old joined Atletico from Real Madrid in 2008 but her renewed his contract in 2017 summer, which means he is expected to remain at the club till 2025 but Arsene Wenger is hoping he would convince the youngster to sign for his team ahead of next season.
Since joining Atleti, the midfielder has developed to an important part of the club, making over 190 appearances in all competitions, and he has been involved in 43 goals.
