Arsenal and Manchester City are set to compete for Barcelona young prospect Navarro Robert in the summer according to reports. The 15-year-old player currently plays for the La Masia academy but his quality and impressive stats at Camp Nou has endeared him to lots of European clubs including the Gunners and City.

According to Don Balon, the player might have to choose the club he would love to play for in a week time when he clocks 16 years of age.

The youngster is tipped to be one of the best players in the world in no time but he must choose a club where his talent will be fully utilized and developed into a world-class player.

Juventus and Monaco are also in the race for the Spaniard as both clubs want to improve the quality of players produced from their respective academies.

Though there are lots of option for Navarro to choose from but according to Sports Newspapers, the youngster wants to have a heart-to-heart discussion with Barcelona board and coaches to know the plans they have for him so as to know whether to remain with the Blaugrana or to move on to another club where he would be seeing some first-team actions.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is known for his huge trust in his academy products and that could make him the favourite manager to win the player’s signature when the summer transfer window begins.

Hector Bellerin, Iwobi, Maitland-Nile, Nketiah are some of the players who graduated from the Gunners academy and are doing great with the senior squad.
