Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw is angry with José Mourinho and he could be forced to move out if the club this summer according to reports.

The England international was criticized by the former Porto and Chelsea manager during his post-match conference after their 2-0 FA  victory over Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup quarterfinal round on Saturday.

The 25-year-old left-back was made to make way for Ashley Young at half-time after failing to impress Mourinho with his performance throughout his duration on the pitch.

The Portuguese manager blamed Shaw for his uninspiring display at the back of the pitch claiming the Englishman was a player with little desire to help the team defend so as to win the fixture.

Mourinho further classified the left-back as a player who lacks the qualities to support Nemanja Matic who was brilliant throughout the encounter at Old Trafford.

According to the Times, Shaw is not happy with the treatment he’s been receiving from the club since the Portuguese tactician became the team’s manager after succeeding Rio Ferdinand in the 2016-17 season and he is considering ending his four-year spell at Old Trafford before the start of next football calendar.

It should be recalled that Luke Shaw was criticized by his manager after the United’s victory over Everton last year when Mourinho admitted that the Englishman could only perform brilliantly as long as he plays with ‘his body and my brain’

Having looked to have rejuvenated his United career in recent weeks, there were speculations last month that Shaw could be given a new contract extension by the end of the season but that looks far from being true after another round of criticism from Mourinho. Chelsea and his former club, Southampton are reportedly monitoring his situation with the Red Devils as they hope to compete for his signature.
