If you have not heard about the reported Alexis Sanchez move to Man United then you must have been living under a rock for the past week.
The Chilean is close to a move to Old Trafford after apparently turning down their city rivals Man city.
The player had given his need to win trophies as the reason for his desire to leave the Emirates but that is being brought into question by the media and Man United legend Rio Ferdinand has weighed in with his own opinions.
“Listen, if I’m going to be honest, I had this discussion with my mates yesterday and today,” said Ferdinand. “If he’s got the option to go from Arsenal now to Manchester City or Manchester United, as a footballer who wanted to win trophies and would judge myself based on trophies being won, at the moment Manchester City looks like the place to go. – as quoted from GiveMeSport”
Ferdinand who admitted to being hurt by the statement he made, confirmed that if he eventually moves to Old Trafford it would have been for the money as he undoubtedly at the moment has more chances to win trophies at the Etihad.
As you reckon, it is believed Sanchez will only listen to a move to Man United, but we should be aware of his move within the next few hours or so.
Manchester City is already leading to winning the Premier League Cup for this season, yet we should not rule United out as we know Mourinho always find a way to the top.
Sanchez, however, is believed to be close to making a Man United move as major hints have been dropped by all parties involved.
