English Premier League Champions Chelsea have been strongly linked with a transfer for OGC Nice star Jean Seri recently.
The Ivorian international midfielder could be ready to leave the French club very soon and it looks like Chelsea hold a keen interest in the enigmatic Nice midfielder.
However, one major stumbling block in the player’s aim to depart Nice for bigger challenges is the team’s asking price of him. Previously, they have asked for transfer fees in the region of about £30million but, as per a report by Buzz Sport via talkSPORT, OGC Nice are prepared to reduce their asking price.
The midfielder is now stated to be worth a sum of only £20 million, which is more than reasonable for top flight teams.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is believed to be interested in bringing in some new faces in the upcoming winter transfer window as he tries to enjoy a solid second half of the campaign.
It has been widely reported that Merseyside giants Liverpool, and Premier League runaway leaders Manchester City are all closely watching his situation at the club and are considering making a move in January for the in-demand player.
