Having lost his starting spot in Antonio Conte’s eleven, Chelsea star David Luiz is reportedly ready to leave the club in the winter transfer window.

Luiz, 30, has missed Chelsea last eight English Premier League matches, with a knee problem being the club’s official line. However, the defender was dropped from the team to face rivals Manchester United last month after an alleged fallout with Antonio Conte, according to The Sun.

The Italian tactician reacted angrily in his pre-match presser during the week ahead of the victory over Southampton as he claimed that he would have to organize a different media conference with the side’s medical staff who will confirm to them that David Luiz is truly injured.

However, that has not been enough to entirely convince that the Brazilian has a future at the club, with The Mirror stating that he could depart in January with a £23million valuation not putting off Serie A giants Juventus.

Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United are also named as their Portuguese boss could choose to sign a deputy after Eric Bailly’s injury problem, although with England international defender Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and Chris Smalling still at the manager’s disposal, it looks unnecessary to spend much on a center-half in January.
