Roberto Martinez has adviced Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda to get his head down and pay attention to performing for his team after the recent rumour about his future.

The 21-year-old forward has emerged as a target for the Gunners in recent days following his lack of game time at Chelsea, if reports in France are anything to go by.

The attacker has been strongly linked with Arsenal after having only played four matches in all competitions for the Premier League Champions so far this season, and two of those games were as a substitute.

The Belgian is clearly interested in sealing a regular playing spot in the starting line-up at Chelsea under manager Antonio Conte this League season.

However, his National team manager Roberto Martinez feels that the youngster should ignore the transfer rumour about his future and rather concentrate on securing a place in the senior team at Stamford Bridge.

The attacking midfielder will be hoping to be featured when his side returns to English Premier League duty with a crucial home tie against rivals Manchester United at Stamford Bridge at the Weekend.

Chelsea are currently nine points behind Manchester City in the Premier League title race after 10 matches of the new season.
