English Premier League club Arsenal have confirmed they will not be in the summer transfer market for a new goalkeeper.
It was earlier reported that the Gunners will be moving for an option to mount the sticks after Bernd Leno sustained an injury that was feared to lay him off for months.
Emiliano Martinez has been standing in for the first choice role and has impressed greatly. The Gunners can hardly miss Leno, a development that has given conveyed faith in the current choice while they consider shelving other transfer plans for a new goalkeeper.

It is now expected that Emiliano Martinez would be handed a new deal that will have him stay at the Emirates Stadium much longer, knowing that he can be a good backup to Bernd Leno.
However, the latest report claims that Leno is set for a shock and early return and could begin training even before the end of the season.
Although it is not expected that he would be seen on the pitch this season from all indications, he would be available to start the season with the Gunners team.
