Struggling Premier League giants Arsenal have turned their attention to a Manchester United loanee as they try to solve their glaring defensive problems according to the Daily Mirror.
Arsenal have made a poor start to the Premier League this season and that could be traced to their problems defensively.
The Gunners have two clean sheets only in 15 league games this season.

Chris Smalling became surplus to requirements at Manchester United after the world-record arrival of Harry Maguire from fellow Premier League team Leicester City this summer.
Manchester United paid £80m for Harry Maguire thus making the England international the most expensive defender in world football ahead of Liverpool star Virgil Van Dijk.
Chris Smalling had no choice but to leave Manchester United and he has been better for it after his sensational start to life at AS Roma.
Arsenal sent scouts to watch him in action on Friday night during the Italian Serie A game with hosts and league leaders Inter Milan.
Everton and Leicester City are also monitoring his situation at AS Roma ahead of next summer.
