Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang broke his three-game scoreless run with the first goal of the game off an assist from Alexandre Lacazette.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has now reached a landmark of 50 goals in 78 games for the North Londoners in all competitions.
The Gunners were unable to build on that lead as Wolves fought back to parity in the second half through their star striker Raul Jimenez off an assist from Portuguese international Joao Moutinho.
It was the 11th goal of the season for the Mexican international and his strike was enough to get a 1-1 draw for Wolves.
Arsenal are now winless in their last three games in the Premier League.
