Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has downplayed the various transfer rumours linking him with a possible move for young Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland as the Red Devils try to find a lasting solution to their attacking malaise this season.
Erling Haaland dominated the transfer room shortly before the Europa League clash between Partizan Belgrade FC of Serbian and Manchester United with several reports claiming that the Red Devils are keen on a move for the Norwegian international in the New Year.
The 19-year-old has been one of the best players on the European football scene this term.

He has scored a whooping 20 goals in just 13 games in all competitions this season with six of those goals coming in the Champions League including the hattrick against Genk on Matchday One.
Erling Haaland is the leading goalscorer in the Champions League this season.
A move for him was played down by Solskjaer who said that he won’t speak about strikers of other teams.
After the Partizan Belgrade game on Thursday night, Solskjaer told reporters that he has been constantly bombarded with questions over strikers.
He went on to say that reporters asked him about Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane before the Partizan Belgrade game and Erling Haaland after the Europa League clash.
