Manchester United could finally see their hope of having Pogba beyond this season come to reality as Real Madrid are reportedly set to end interest in the Frenchman.
Pogba, 26, was Madrid’s major transfer target in the summer but the Galacticos couldn’t convince United into letting go of the players.
Zidane eventually turned his attention to Eden Hazard whom he sees as a makeshift attacking midfielder at Santiago Bernabeau and he’s now focusing on improving his attack.
It is believed that Zidane is very much keen on adding his compatriot to his squad in January or next summer window.
However, the latest report via AS claimed that Zidane could eventually end his interest in Pogba as he is now chasing after Kylian Mbappe following the youngster’s attacking exploits for PSG.

Mbappe registered a hat-trick to help Thomas Tuchel’s men defeat Club Brugge in midweek’s Champions League fixture and his display caught the attention of his compatriot.
The Spanish publication further revealed that Zidane is in search of a worthy replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo who left Santiago Bernabeau for Juventus prior to the start of the season.
As much as this will come as good news to Solskjaer, Paul Pogba won’t be happy with the latest development considering the midfielder’s obvious desire to part ways with the Premier League giants.
