Manchester United have reportedly developed interest in Lille and Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen who is currently one of the most in-form strikers in the world.
The 20-year-old has scored eight goals in all competitions for his Ligue 1 side this season and Solskjaer is said to be monitoring his development in the French League.
According to The Sun the Red Devils are seeking to add more deadly strikers to their attacking lineup, and they believe the pacy Nigerian will be a great addition to the team.
However, the 20-time Premier League champions will have to slug it out with Barcelona who have been linked with the player’s signature.

Allnigeriasoccer reported last Saturday that the Catalans have included the former Wolfsburg player in the list of players whom they see as potential Luis Suarez’s replacement in the next transfer market.
Should Osimhen eventually join United in January or in the next summer transfer window, he will become the first Nigerian to feature for the Red Devils.
Mikel Obi was closed to breaking the record in the early stages of his career but a prolonged transfer saga saw him move to Chelsea in 2006.
