Spanish La Liga leaders Real Madrid are reportedly keen to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen on a free transfer.
This is according to the publication from the Daily Post which revealed that Real Madrid want to sign the player to a pre-contract agreement at the start of next year.
Christian Eriksen has less than a year left on his present contract with Tottenham Hotspur and the Danish international midfielder can sign pre-contract agreement for a free transfer with foreign clubs as from January 2020.
He can sign the pre-contract agreement with clubs outside England when he has six months left on his contract.

Tottenham Hotspur want to keep Christian Eriksen at the club but the player is determined to move on to greener pastures despite the fact that the North London club has offered him a whopping new contract worth £200,000 on a weekly basis.
Eriksen has turned down that new contract offer and he’s poised to leave the club on a free transfer next summer unless senior Tottenham Hotspur officials can convince him to stay at the club beyond next summer.
His path to Real Madrid can be fast-tracked by the news that current Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is a top target for Real Madrid with manager Zinedine Zidane under a bit of pressure at the Estadio Santiago Bernebeu.
