Arsenal Defender Leaves Ahead Of Spurs Clash
Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal has left the club to join Spanish La Liga side Real Sociedad just before the Gunners take on North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in a league game on Sunday evening.
The Gunners will host Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium in what’s a week four game in the Premier League and Nacho Monreal will be a conspicuous absentee during the match.
It’s the first North London Derby of the season in the Premier League.
The official confirmation of Nacho Monreal’s transfer to Real Sociedad came on Saturday morning via a club statement.

Real Sociedad made the announcement as it was revealed that the Spanish international left-back will be unveiled on Monday.
He will sign a two-year contract until the end of the 2020/21 season.
The Spaniard has featured in all the three games for Arsenal this season to take his appearance tally to 251 in the red and white of the Gunners.
Nacho Monreal scored 10 goals in the colours of Arsenal on the back of his move from Spanish club Malaga in January 2013.
He spent six-and-a-half years with the Gunners and also won three FA Cup titles as well as three Community Shield titles during his stay at the club.
