Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has received a vote of confidence from chief executive Ed Woodward after the club’s average start to the new Premier League season.
Solskjaer was backed by Ed Woodward after the club’s financial result for the last year was released on Tuesday.
Ed Woodward urged the Manchester United fans to be patient with former club striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the Red Devils lost two of their opening six league games including the loss at West Ham United on Sunday evening.
West Ham United beat Manchester United 2-0 in their Premier League meeting at the weekend.

Ukrainian international star Andriy Yarmolenko opened the scoring for the Hammers just before the halftime interval before the hosts wrapped up proceedings in the second half through a textbook freekick from left-back Aaron Cresswell.
It was the second straight victory for West Ham United at home to Manchester United having beaten them in the same fixture last season.
The win took West Ham United into the top four on the Premier League table though they were later pushed back to fifth position after fellow London club Arsenal took fourth position following their impressive comeback win at home to newcomers Aston Villa.
