Champions League finalists Tottenham Hotspur have concluded plans to offer midfielder Christian Eriksen a new contract amidst the transfer rumours linking him with other clubs.
According to the Daily Mail, Spurs are ready to offer Christian Eriksen up to £200,000 in salary on a weekly basis which is more than the £80,000 weekly salary which he earns at the moment.
The Danish international star earns £4m on a yearly basis and it could more than double to £10m.
It was also revealed that the player was offered a contract extension of £160,000 on a weekly basis and it was turned down by the player.

His representatives have already informed senior Tottenham Hotspur officials that the player won’t be influenced by money with clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United interested in his services.
Christian Eriksen has one year left on his current deal with Spurs and the club has to make a decision on his situation.
Spurs have to sell the player this summer or risk losing him for free next summer in the event that he does not sign a new contract.
Christian Eriksen has been a key player for Tottenham for over five years and the club would like to retain him for the new season.
