North London giants Arsenal will reportedly step up their interest in Bournemouth midfielder Ryan Fraser by next week.
This is according to the publication from the Independent which claimed that the Gunners will firm up their interest in Fraser after the Europa League clash with London rivals Chelsea next week.
Arsenal will face Chelsea in an all-English Europa League final billed for Baku in Azerbaijan on Wednesday night.
The Gunners can seal qualification for the Champions League next season by beating the Blues in the Europa League final.
On their part, Chelsea have qualified for Europe’s premier club competition via a third-placed finish at the end of the just concluded Premier League season but manager Maurizio Sarri has revealed his desire to end the campaign with a silverware in the Europa League.
Chelsea are also interested in a move for the aforementioned Fraser but the Gunners are in pole position to sign the Scottish international player.
Other major Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in him.
Ryan Fraser was one of the best players for the Cherries during the just concluded Premier League season after he scored seven goals and provided 14 assists.
He has one year left on his contract with Bournemouth.
